How to read Lishese/Voha Lisheeza diira'o. The vowels in Lishese are very straight forward. There are no silent letters, although there are some "reduced" letters. Here are the vowels: A.........AE (as in Cat) E.........EH (as in Men) I.........IH (as in Hit) O.........OW (as in Now) U.........ou (as in Could) AA........AH (as in Hot) EE........EHEE(as in Bait) II........EE(as in See) OO........OH(as in Bone) UU........OO(as in Moon ) Notes on accenting syllables: The loudest part of a word is the syllable that contains a double vowel. If there are more than one double vowel in the word,then the last double vowel syllable is accented. Make possitive identification with apostrophes between letters. There MUST be a pause between letters of this type.
