My experience with Conlangs:

My first true experience in Conlangs was when I heard Pig-Latin for the first time. I remember playing with my brothers, sometimes we would pretend that one of us was either a Native American (you know...Cowboys and Indians); The Native American was not supose to speak English so he had to invent a language that sort of sounded "Indigenous". Or some one would play like they were African or Chinese. Of course this piqued our interest in Languages in general. It seems that all through out my family's history, some one was studying a foreign language of some type.It was either Spanish,French,German or Russian. Spanish has had the most influence on me particularly, because I grew up in Kansas and Oklahoma where it is nothing to hear Spanish being spoken on the street or hear it on the radio.
